Rare Estate Metal Antique/Vintage GREYHOUND / WHIPPET Dog Door Pull Handle w/ &

This is a rare, vintage, metal Greyhound Door Pull or maybe handle ? It has the hardware/screws on the bottom of it's feet where it secures to the door. The surface color over the metal has worn. On the invoice, from the estate I purchased it from, the description states "8"x5" Metal Vintage Greyhound Door Pull". Measuring from the back foot to the front, it measures approximately 7 1/2 inches. And from the top of the head to the bottom of the foot approximately 5 1/2 inches when I measured. The metal looks to be solid and intact. Please look at the photos. They really do not do it justice. A neat old piece that I think and was told is a door pull. Thanks for your interest and looking.
